This is a software specially developed for SUM's fatigue and endurance tests.
SUM Computer Operating System (SCOS) is a tool that effectively sets the testing
conditions for the fatigue and endurance tests; monitors the tests; has an automatic
stop function; and draws graphs of the test results.
Program Test
Set the test conditions for the endurance tests, the dynamic characteristic tests and the static characteristic tests to conduct the tests in sequence.
Endurance Test
Displacement, peak of load, center, and change of stroke vibrated under a constant
stroke/frequency can be displayed on the durability (trend) graph. The signal
wave of displacement and load can be displayed on a time series graph or an X-Y
graph.
Static
Characteristic Test
Measures the transition of displacement and load when graduallyloading the specimen
and displays the results on a time series or an X-Y graph. The static stiffness
and hysteresis can be calculated.
Dynamic characteristic Test
By changing the frequency intermittently, the displacement, amplitude of load,
and phase can be acquired with this data. The storage spring constant, absolute
stiffness, decay factor, and loss factor can be calculated.
